Welcome to the Taft Elementary School Home Page. Established in 1959, the Taft Elementary School is a K-5 public school. It is located in Orange County about 60 miles north of New York City. Our student enrollment is approximately 750, supported by 33 classroom teachers and 22 support staff.
Our Taft P.T.A. is an integral part of our school community and works closely with us on Author's Day, the D.A.R.E. Program, and assemblies.
