A Message from the Superintendent of Schools

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students:

Please be reminded that students should be accompanied by their parents or guardians when attending evening events on our campus.  We have had several recent events, especially home football games, where the number of unsupervised students has grown to very large numbers, thus causing safety concerns for all.  Additionally, we are asking parents not to drop off students in the village expecting them to walk to events, as this in turn has become a challenge for our municipal partners.  Please also review with your students that they should at all times stay within sight distance of you, their parents or guardians, and not wander into unlit areas such as behind buildings, other field areas, parking lots, woods, etc.   Proper supervision, including police, staff and administration are in place during and at events, however, they are stationed at the specific event, not throughout the entire campus.  Thank you for your assistance in helping us to keep all of our children safe.

Respectfully,

Robbie Greene
Superintendent of Schools
