As part of drug-awareness month at the Washingtonville Middle School, Student Assistance Counselor, Linda Losquadro, conducted an "Anti-Drug Slogan" writing contest for seventh and eighth grade students.  Six teams participated with two winners per team.  During Red Ribbon Week, the winners went to Little Britain Elementary School and worked on a project with School Counselor, Geralyn Vertoske's fourth grade Just Say No Club.

The Middle School students worked collaboratively to develop criteria to evaluate posters and essays written by the elementary students and discussed with those students the dangers of drug abuse.
