A Message from the Superintendent of Schools

Dear Washingtonville Staff, Students and Residents,

Welcome to 2009!  As we move into the month of January there are numerous state assessments and exams that our students will be taking, including ELA's, SAT 1 & 2, and Regents exams.  We are confident that our students are well-prepared and ready!  We ask that parents and/or guardians assist us in making sure that our students are well-rested, eat a nutritious breakfast, and arrive at school on time.  Research shows that each of these factors can help to reduce stress and test anxiety for students.  Please refer to this website or the District calendar sent home in September for specific assessment dates.
